Dearest Doll Fans,
Thanks to our good friend Emcee Jeff Adames (www.ultimateent.com), we arrived in style at The Graycliff, in Moonachie, New Jersey. After a quick mic check with the wonderful DJ Taz, we were escorted to the “Bridal Suite” to change into costume. The evening started off with a lovely hors de vours and cocktail hour before the announcement of Mr. Vince Lombardi’s parents’ 49 year wedding anniversary! What a lovely celebration to be a part of. We were able to highlight this fantastic couple during our show as well as a soldier who is currently serving in Iraq. For dinner, we had the privilege of sitting with a famous actor (seen in many gangster films!) and a few other folks who were involved in making the evening happen. During our show, we had Vince Lombardi sing along with us and later in the evening had the pleasure of singing backup for an officer while he performed “That’s Life” a la Frank Sinatra! After our 30 minute show, we were asked to stay and enjoy dessert, dancing and cocktails. Of course we had to stay! We had the delight of dancing with all the lovely folks who are a part of the PBA. This event was so much fun and a delight to be a part of. I hope we can do this event again this year and celebrate Mr. and Mrs. Lombardi’s 50th wedding anniversary!!
